Daily horoscope for Sunday, November 1, 2026

By Maren Tremblay, Fatesight editor · Last updated

A daily horoscope is a short reading for your Sun sign, written from where the Sun, Moon and planets are that day. On Fatesight, each sign's reading counts today's Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars in that sign's own houses, so every sign reads a different day from the same sky.

Pick your sign for today's reading in four areas, each with what it is based on.

How to read your horoscope

Find your Sun sign below by your birthday. The zodiac signs page has every sign's dates, and if you were born on a day the Sun changed sign, the birth chart calculator settles it. Each sign's page gives a general reading, then love, career and family, and says which part of the sky each one comes from. If you know your rising sign, read its horoscope too: astrologers count the houses from the rising sign as well as the Sun, and the two together give a fuller picture. The rising sign calculator finds yours.

Why every sign's day is different

The planets are in the same place for everyone, but each sign sees them from a different starting point. Astrologers count twelve houses round the zodiac from your sign, so when the Moon is in Gemini it falls in the third house for Aries, read as a day for messages and errands, and in the eleventh for Leo, a day for friends and groups. One sky gives twelve different readings, and each one changes as the Moon moves on.

Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly

The daily reading follows the Moon, which changes sign every two and a half days. The weekly and monthly horoscopes add the slower planets, the New and Full Moon and the aspects of the week or month, and the 2027 horoscope reads Jupiter, Saturn and the year's eclipses. Use today's page for the day's choices and the longer ones to plan ahead.

Each reading follows where the Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars are that day, counted in the houses of each sign.

Daily horoscope: questions people ask

What is my zodiac sign?

Your Sun sign, the one horoscopes use, is set by your birthday: Aries from March 21 to April 19, then on round the year to Pisces, February 19 to March 20. If your birthday is the first or last day of a sign, the year and the time decide, and your birthday's page shows the days the Sun changed sign.

Is a daily horoscope the same for everyone of a sign?

Yes. A Sun sign horoscope is written for everyone born under that sign, so it reads the day in broad strokes. A reading from your full birth chart uses your Moon, your rising sign and your houses, so it is yours alone.

What time does the daily horoscope change?

Each reading here is for the calendar day in UTC, so the page changes at midnight UTC: 7 in the evening in New York in winter and 8 in summer. The table above gives each position at noon UTC on the day.

Should I read my Sun sign or my rising sign?

Both, if you know your rising sign. The Sun sign reading shows the day for who you are at heart, and the rising sign reading, counted from your ascendant, is the one many astrologers read as closer to the day's events.
