A testing pairing: loyalty is tested, so choose carefully where you give it.

What the year means for the Dog
The tradition lists Goat, Ox and Dog as a group of three that test each other, so this can be a year when your sense of what is fair is tried. You are the most loyal animal in the zodiac, and the question is where that loyalty is going and whether it is returned. Rules and agreements may need more attention than usual. It is a year to be fair to yourself as well.
The tradition says Fire feeds Earth, so this year's element is on your side, adding warmth and support to what you are already building.
Dog love forecast 2027
In love, you give a lot, and this year you may notice when it is not given back. Raise it early and calmly, rather than carrying it around. If you are single, take your time and watch how someone treats people when it does not benefit them. A relationship built on honesty does well, and honesty may be what this year tests.
Dog career forecast 2027
At work, you may find yourself in a dispute about who agreed to what, so keep things in writing and stay out of arguments that are not yours. Your integrity is your strongest card. Legal, caring and service work all suit you. If an organisation no longer deserves your loyalty, it is a sensible year to start looking elsewhere.
Dog money forecast 2027
Read contracts closely, and keep your records in order. Disagreements about money are more likely to arise this year than big windfalls. Be careful about co-signing anything for someone else, even someone you trust. A straightforward budget and a small reserve will help you stay calm if something does come up.
Making decisions as a Dog in 2027
Your sense of right and wrong is strong, and it is usually a good guide. Before you take a stand, check that you have all the facts. Choose which fights are really yours. Letting something go is not the same as giving in.
Your months in 2027
Each lunar month has its own animal, and the tradition reads them against yours.
- Your own month, the Dog's: September 30 to October 28, a time when your concerns tend to come to the front.
- The Tiger's month: February 6 to March 7, your natural ally, an easier time to ask for help.
- The Horse's month: June 5 to July 3, your natural ally, an easier time to ask for help.
- The Dragon's month: April 7 to May 5, your opposite, a time to expect some movement and stay flexible.
Dates are for Beijing's calendar, which sets the Chinese new year.
Dog birth years
You are a Dog if you were born in one of these Chinese years, and the element changes each time. Chinese years begin in January or February, so a birthday early in the year may belong to the year before.
