Travel lines on the palm
Travel lines are small horizontal creases on the outer edge of the palm, below the little finger and near the wrist, along with any branch that leaves the life line toward the Moon mount. In palmistry they are read as a love of movement and a pull toward other places.

How to find them
Turn your hand so that you are looking at its outer edge, below the little finger. Travel lines start at the edge and run a short way in across the palm, toward its centre. They sit on the Moon mount, the pad opposite the thumb, which palmistry links with imagination. Look lower down, near the wrist, for the deeper ones.
What they are read as
Long, clear lines are read as a real pull to live or work somewhere else, and short faint ones as a taste for trips. Readers count how many stand out and how deep they are. They see this as describing a temperament. A person with many of them can be restless at home even if they have rarely left their own country.
The branch from the life line
A line that forks off the life line toward the outer palm is read as a big move: a part of your life lived somewhere other than where it started. Where it leaves the line is often taken as a rough stage of life, with the top of the line as younger years. Readers don't treat it as a date you can count on.
Reading them with the rest of your hand
Compare your two hands. Lines on the hand you were born with and not the other are read as a wish you haven't acted on yet. If you are drawn to a place and want to look at it another way, an astro map reads the same question from your birth chart, by where your planet lines run.
Travel lines on the palm: questions people ask
How many travel lines is a lot?
There is no set number. Readers look at whether two or three are clearly deeper than the rest, and those are the ones they read.
Do travel lines mean I will move abroad?
Palmists read them as a pull toward movement. Whether you act on it is up to you, and the lines are said to change over the years.
Are travel lines the same as the relationship lines?
No. Relationship lines sit higher on the same edge, just below the little finger. Travel lines sit lower, on the Moon mount, near the wrist.
