Who is my soulmate?
Astrology answers this with two placements: Venus shows who you are drawn to, and the Moon shows who makes you feel at home. Both depend on your birthday, not just your Sun sign, which is why two people of the same sign can want quite different partners. Enter your date of birth to see yours.
Why Venus and the Moon
Your Sun sign describes you. Your Venus sign describes your taste: what catches your eye, how you flirt and what you find beautiful. Your Moon sign describes what you need once the excitement settles: how you want to be comforted, and what home feels like. A soulmate connection, as astrologers describe it, usually touches both. Many relationships begin on Venus and last on the Moon, and many troubles begin when someone has picked for one and neglected the other.

What a soulmate looks like in a chart
When astrologers compare two charts, they look for one person's Venus or Moon falling on the other's Sun, Moon or rising sign, for a shared north node and for the two 7th houses speaking to each other. Those contacts are what people mean by "it felt like I had always known them." You can only see them with both birthdays, so if you have someone in mind, try the love calculator too.
Reading your result
Treat your result as a description of a type rather than a checklist. It may well describe someone you have already met and overlooked because they were not what you thought you wanted. Many people also find it describes an ex, and that is useful: it may show what you keep looking for, and whether you have been looking in the right places.
Who is my soulmate? Questions people ask
How do I find my soulmate by date of birth?
Work out your Venus and Moon signs from your birthday, then read what they ask for. The form on this page does that from your date of birth. For a full comparison, you need the other person's birthday as well.
Which zodiac sign is my soulmate?
There is no single answer by Sun sign alone. Astrologers look to the sign opposite your own, which your 7th house falls in, and to the sign your Venus is in, which is often quite different.
What does Venus in my chart say about love?
It describes what attracts you and how you show it: Venus in Taurus wants comfort and loyalty, Venus in Gemini wants conversation, Venus in Scorpio wants depth. Each sign has its own page.
Can my soulmate be a friend?
Yes. Astrologers read soulmate contacts in friendships and families as well as in love, and many people say their closest bond is not a romantic one.
